Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) Green skills
Objectives
The aims of the project are totally concentrated on the priorities selected above, especially. The
objectives are:
Green skills:
• to realise the fact that climate crisis is a global issue
• to learn about climate change as a global issue and explore mitigation and prevention options
• to understand of the sustainable use of resources
• to get the knowledge, skills and motivation to live sustainably
• to support young people for education to becoming active citizens, by inspiring them to become
environmentally friendly
• to get the knowledge of dangers of consumerist style of life
(water, soil, air pollution)
Inclusion:
• to unify individuals within their community/minority group and as citizens of their country
• to encourage vulnerable young people to participate in opportunities to build a more inclusive society
• to create opportunities for people with fewer opportunities to support environmental challenges,
contributing to the societal challenge of climate change
• to enable participants access the opportunity for mobility and engagement in a valuable activity
• candidates who have fewer opportunities, who are unlikely to have the capacity to proactively apply, will
be invited
• to meet with people from different backgrounds, making them more confident, plus more inclined
to socialise with and support people of different backgrounds at home
• to include Ukrainian war refugees as part of the project to give them chance for
a better education

STEM:
• to equip the participants with modern technology skills (i.e. programming) in order to reduce the climate
change
• to provide support of partners and participating organisations from a variety of backgrounds,
each with a wealth of expertise in the topics of environment protection
• to improve their participans' skills and competences, returning home with more confidence and ambition to
keep learning
• to support innovative non-formal education for young people in the field of modern technologies:
robotics, automation, electronic and programming mechanics
• to develop a modern and effective model for teaching / promoting the pro-ecological attitudes
among young people
Results:
• to learn compassion for the climate emergency (and how it affects the people around local
community, nation, Europe), which can be spread within their wider communities, effecting a
positive change for society
• to inspire, empower and enable young people to participate as active citizens in contemporary society at
local, national and global levels, based on an understanding of human rights and social responsibilities
• to use Robotics as didactic tools to promote acquisition of disciplinary and cross-disciplinary cognitive and
social skills
• to make the young generation sensitive to ecological issues - make them Notice and
React when they see a problem/breakinf the law i.e. inform the local authorities - not to
stay indifferent
