  SOIL  -  CROATIA Context • Familiarization with national and local environmental issues • Focusing on issues related to: • Soil pollution, use of pesticides • Monoculture of hazelnuts • Chemical waste dumping • Illegal dumping of waste in quarries • Use of robots to collect soil samples from various, often difficult to access or harmful to human health sites. • A visit by project participants and a specialist scientist to a hazelnut farmer • Meeting with specialist(s) dealing with these issues and ordinary residents (scientists, municipal workers, farmers, police, residents) - panel discussion with community participation. During the first day of this activity, partner from Italy will train the students in terms of technical robot.
